Russian Foreign Ministry reiterates absence of alternative to Minsk accords

MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax) - Moscow emphasizes that there is no alternative to the Minsk accords on settlement in Ukraine.

"The Minsk accords have no alternative. Efforts have to be made to implement them in full," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters on Thursday.

"I would like to call on our partners in Western Europe, in the U.S., on the guarantor countries, not to discuss in abstract terms, who is performing what and who is not, but rather once again to read, refresh in their memory the very Minsk Agreements. Practice makes perfect," he said.

"We will never tire of repeating that the Minsk Agreements must be implemented by Kyiv, while Russia is not a party to the Minsk Agreements and this can be said another hundred times, another thousand times," Ryabkov said.
