Security tightened ahead of 5th Astana round - Kazakh Foreign Ministry

ASTANA. July 4 (Interfax) - Security has been tightened in Astana ahead of the fifth round of negotiations on Syria de-escalation efforts, which starts on Tuesday, Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Anuar Jainakov said.

"Same as before, security has been tightened, and we are working to provide necessary conditions for the activity of delegates, in particular, on the venue of negotiations and bilateral meetings," Jainakov told reporters.
