Terrorist attack prevented in Donetsk - DPR
DONETSK. July 4 (Interfax) - A terrorist attack has been prevented in the center of Donetsk, Eduard Basurin of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"Local residents found a remotely controlled bomb on Shchors Street in a residential area, near a food industry college, at 9 a.m. The explosive device has been defused," Basurin told reporters.
Most probably, the bomb was supposed to go off in the morning when people were on their way to work, shops, kindergartens and schools, Basurin said.
He blamed the Ukrainian security services for plotting the attack.
