Poroshenko invites Nazarbayev to pay state visit to Kyiv
ASTANA. July 6 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko wished Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev a happy birthday and called his activity an example of relentless service to the state, the Kazakh presidential press service said on Thursday.
"I am sure that friendly relations between Ukraine and Kazakhstan will help implement bilateral agreements to the benefit of our peoples. I would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm the invitation to pay a state visit to Ukraine, which should provide a new incentive to the development of mutually beneficial partnership and facilitate better mutual understanding between the two countries," the press service said in quoting Poroshenko's letter.
The Ukrainian leader wished his Kazakh counterpart good health, inexhaustible vital energy and new successes in his responsible activities as a statesman.
Nazarbayev turns 77 on July 6.
