Putin-Trump negotiations lasting for 90 minutes already
HAMBURG. July 7 (Interfax) - The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G20 summit has lasted for 1.5 hours already.
According to the protocol, some 45 minutes are allocated for such meetings. The meeting between the leaders of Russia and the United States has lasted twice as much time already.
The first meeting between Putin and Trump began around 5:10 p.m. Moscow time on Friday with an exchange of welcomes and expressions of hopes for a constructive conversation. The conversation was started by the U.S. president, who said he was very happy to have the meeting and said he was looking forward to talking to his Russian counterpart.
