Ryabkov to meet Shannon next week to discus diplomatic property - source in Russian Foreign Ministry
MOSCOW. July 10 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov will hold a meeting with U.S. Undersecretary of State Tomas Shannon next week to discuss the situation surrounding the Russian diplomatic property in the United States, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told reporters on Monday.
"A meeting of Ryabkov and Shannon is scheduled for next week," the source said.
The parties will discuss the situation surrounding the Russian diplomatic property seized in the U.S., the source said.
The source did not specify the place where consultations will be held.
The previous round of the Ryabkov-Shannon consultations was to take place in St. Petersburg on June 23, but the Russian side cancelled it due to, particularly, the fact that the U.S. administration had significantly expanded the anti-Russian sanctions list three days before the scheduled negotiations.
