DPR to form executive committee to prepare Malorossiya's constitution
DONETSK. July 18 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has proposed that an executive committee be set up to prepare the final edition of the constitution of the new state of Malorossiya.
"The organizing committee proposes the establishment of a three-member executive committee as a coordinating body. The executive committee will be ordered to prepare and publish the final edition of the document, to establish contact with representatives of Malorossiya's regions, and to inform international institutions and every interested person of our proposal to draw up the constitution," advisor to the DPR head Alexander Kazakov told reporters.
"The organizing committee nominates the following candidates to the executive committee: DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko, DPR deputy prime minister Alexander Timofeyev, and Vyacheslav Gubin, another member of the presidium. Alexander Kazakov is nominated for secretary," he said.
Zakharchenko declared the establishment of a new state, Malorossiya, earlier on Tuesday.
