Working group on security in Donbas is meeting in Minsk

MOSCOW. July 19 (Interfax) - A meeting of the working group on security in Donbas has begun in Minsk, Vladislav Deinego, a representative of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic, said.

"The working group on security has begun working in Minsk," he told the Luhansk Information Center on Wednesday.

Alexander Zakharchenko, the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, announced the establishment of a new state called Malorossiya on Tuesday.

Ukraine said it expects OSCE envoy to the Trilateral Contact Group Martin Sajdik to respond to Zakharchenko's statement at the contact group meeting in Minsk on Wednesday.

LPR envoy Vladislav Deinego told Interfax on Tuesday the republic was not yet ready to consider participation in the project to create the state entity Malorossiya and considered discussions on this issue to be premature.
