Acting head of Mordovia presents Kislyak as candidate for post of senator

SARANSK. July 21 (Interfax) - Acting head of Russia's internal republic of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov, who submitted documents to the republican elections commission for registration as candidate for position of head of Mordovia, has presented Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergei Kislayk as a candidate for the position of Federation Council member, the regional office of the United Russia party told Interfax on Friday.

"Three candidates were presented. They are Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak, chief federal inspector for Mordovia Vladimir Sezganov and Saransk mayor Pyotr Tultayev," it said.
