Ukraine completely stops complying with ceasefire - DPR

DONETSK. Aug 2 (Interfax) - Ukraine has stopped complying with the 'bread truce', the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said.

"We can say that the Ukrainian side has completely stopped complying with the truce imposed for the harvesting period and resumed daily attacks on the republic's territory," Eduard Basurin of the DPR Defense Ministry said in a press briefing on Wednesday.

The Ukrainian army used tanks, artillery, mortars, and small arms in the Donetsk sector, Basurin said.

"One serviceman suffered an injury while defending the republic. Two 122mm artillery projectiles, five tank shells, 42 120mm mines, and 39 82mm mines were fired on 13 populated localities and adjoining terrain," he said.

"The enemy fired 25 120mm and 82mm mines and actively used grenade launchers and small arms against five populated localities and their vicinity in the Horlivka and Mariupol sectors," Basurin said.
