Ukrainian foreign minister denies Saakashvili's claims of having Russian citizenship
KYIV. Aug 8 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said he is a citizen of Ukraine and no other country.
"Unlike some, I am not a passport collector and I don't spread lies. My home country was, is and will be Ukraine," Klimkin wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.
He was responding to the allegation made by a former governor of Odesa region and ex-president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, who said that Klimkin had Russian citizenship.
