Medvedev, Nazarbayev discuss trade, economic cooperation
ASTANA. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has discussed trade and economic cooperation with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The meeting between Nazarbayev and Medvedev took place shortly before the Monday session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Astana.
Medvedev and Nazarbayev discussed the current trade turnover and economic collaboration, in addition to prospects of bilateral relations.
The prime ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) have begun a narrow-format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Astana. They will be joined by delegation members later.
Nazarbayev greeted the Council's members and wished them fruitful work before the meeting.
