Medvedev plans to visit Armenia

ASTANA. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan offered to discuss the timeframe of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev's visit to Armenia at a meeting with the Russian prime minister.

"I want to discus a number of issues with you, including the timeframe of your visit to Armenia," Karapetyan said at a meeting with Medvedev in Astana on Monday. The Russian prime minister agreed.

The Armenian prime minister emphasized the improvement of the economic indicators in the cooperation of the two countries.

In turn, Medvedev said that "the situation is quite good." "Supplies of products from Armenia to Russia are increasing, and trade between our countries is soaring. We continue coordinating our positions on joint investment projects, on a whole set of trends of economic cooperation," the Russian prime minister said.

"Everything is good on the whole, but this does not mean that there is nothing to talk about, let's discuss the current situation," he said.
