Ukrainian army's mortars spark fire in five homes - DPR
DONETSK. Aug 15 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian army's mortars have shelled the Spartak neighborhood and a Donetsk city district, sparking fire in residential buildings, a spokesman for the operative command of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) told Interfax.
"At 8:45 p.m., 82mm and 120mm mortars were fired from Ukrainian positions on the Spartak neighborhood; four homes are on fire. In addition, a house was hit and a fire started on Deputatska Street in the Kyivskyi district of Donetsk," the spokesman said.
Information about possible casualties is being verified, he said.
