Bus travel to Germany opens at Moscow's Tyoply Stan bus station

MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - New international bus destination, Germany, has opened at Mosgortrans' Tyoply Stan bus station, the Moscow transport operator's press service told Interfax on Tuesday.

Buses stop in Berlin, Hannover, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Koln, Magdeburg, Frankfurt, Essen, and other cities. They depart at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.

"Mosgortrans is interested in expanding geography of international routes. One can depart from out bus stations to Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Ukraine, and Estonia today. The route to Germany has become the longest among international ones, its length exceeds 3,000 kilometers," Mosgortrans director for commercial activity Yevgeny Zhigunov said.

Bus tickets can be purchased in ticket boxes at bus stations, on websites of Mosgortrans and its partners, as well as in 500 self-service kiosks all over the city.

State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans operates bus stations of Varshavskaya, VDNKh, Verkhniye Likhobory, Krasnogvardeiskaya, Novogireyevo, Orekhovo, Tyoply Stan, Tushinskaya, and the Yuzhnye Vorota international bus terminal.
