Launches from Vostochny not to be delayed - Rogozin
VOSTOCHNY COSMODROME. Aug 16 (Interfax) - Rockets will be launched without delay from Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur region in November and December of this year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said.
"We have a schedule, and it will not be moved. That will happen on November 28 and December 22," Rogozin said.
The elaboration of project documents for the cosmodrome's second stage was discussed at a closed-door conference.
"We can see that the delivery of equipment for the Angara launch site has begun. Nevertheless, we need to know the exact day when the last evaluation documents will be submitted. We have agreed we will no longer tolerate the beginning of construction works without proper documentation, a review of prices, adjustments or additions," Rogozin said.
