Ukrainian army commits 51 truce breaches in past 24 hours, one civilian wounded - DPR

DONETSK. Aug 18 (Interfax) - A civilian was wounded when the Ukrainian armed forces launched a shelling attack near the village of Zaitseve in the vicinity of Horlivka on Friday morning, a spokesman for the operational command of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) told reporters.

The Ukrainian army has committed more than 50 truce violations in the past 24 hours, he said.

"A man, Semyon Ivanovich Vasilets, born in 1958, sustained a fragmentation wound during the Ukrainian armed forces' shelling attack on the populated locality of Zaitseve today. Reports on destruction are being verified," the spokesman said.

"The Ukrainian armed forces have breached the truce 51 times in the past 24 hours. They shelled districts of 21 populated localities of the republic, using tanks, mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers, and small arms against them," he said,
