M.Video IFRS net profit up 19% to 2.5 bln rubles in H1

MOSCOW. Aug 23 (Interfax) - M.Video posted a net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) of 2.49 billion rubles in H1 2017, rising 19.2% year-on-year, the company said in a report.

The retailer's revenue increased 0.6% to 83.36 billion rubles.

Gross profit rose 5.6% to 20.89 billion rubles. The gross margin was 25%, up from 23.9% a year earlier.

Operating profit was up 18.5% to 2.85 billion rubles. The operating margin rose to 3.4% from 2.9%.

The net cash flow from operations amounted to 10.79 billion rubles, up from 8.45 billion rubles a year earlier.

M.Video is the biggest home electronics retailer in Russia by revenue. Shares are listed on the Moscow Exchange .
