Kazakhstan meets 2025 oil export target early - Energy Ministry

ASTANA. Dec 17 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan exported 73.4 million tonnes of oil in the first 11 months of 2025, thereby meeting the target for this year ahead of schedule, Deputy Energy Minister Sungat Yesimkhanov said.

"Oil exports totalled 73.4 million tonnes in 11 months, 16.1% more than in the same period of 2024," Yesimkhanov said at a cabinet meeting in Astana on Wednesday.

"It must be noted that the 2025 plan to export oil in the amount of 70.5 million tonnes has been achieved," he added.

It was reported earlier that Kazakhstan, which plans to produce 96.2 million tonnes of oil in 2025, produced 91.9 million tonnes in the first 11 months of the year.
