Russian agricultural exports fall 10.3% to $31.5 bln in 10M - customs
MOSCOW. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Russia exported food products and agricultural raw materials excluding textiles worth $31.5 billion in January-October 2025, down 10.3% from $35.1 billion in the same period last year, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) said on its website.
The exports had fallen 11.1% in January-September.
Imports of these products in 10M 2025 increased 14.2% to $35 billion, from $30.6 billion a year earlier. They grew 14.6% in 9M 2025.
According to FCS data, Russia exported food products and agricultural raw materials excluding textiles worth $42.6 billion in 2024, down 1.1% from $43.1 billion in 2023. Agricultural imports rose 7% to $37.7 billion, from $35.2 billion in 2023. Exports increased 4.3% from $41.3 billion in 2022 to $43.1 billion in 2023, while imports fell 1.7% from $35.8 billion to $35.1 billion.
The main Russian agriculture exports include grains and legumes, oil-and-fat products and fish and seafood.
Overseas shipments should reach $55.2 billion by 2030, according to the target set by the Russian president to increase agricultural exports 50% by 2030 compared to 2021.
