Moscow views Europe's Ukraine settlement plan published in media as unconstructive - Ushakov

MOSCOW. Nov 24 (Interfax) - Moscow views Europe's draft Ukraine settlement plan published in the media on Monday as unconstructive, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"As for the plans that are being discussed, we have already learned this morning about a European plan, which at first glance is completely unconstructive and does not suit us," Ushakov told reporters.

Ushakov drew attention to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's statement that last weekend's U.S.-Ukrainian talks in Geneva had left Washington satisfied.

"But he also said that there are 28 points, or there are 26 points. There are a lot of things, plus a lot of different speculations, and it's unclear who to believe, but we believe in what we saw, what was conveyed to us through the appropriate channels," Ushakov said.
