Nuclear energy potential to enable expanding AI capacities in Russia - Putin

MOSCOW. Nov 19 (Interfax) - The growing potential of nuclear energy will enable to gradually expand the computing capacities for artificial intelligence in Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the AI Journey international conference.

In order to promptly use the obtained and already processed data, energy sources must be close to consumers of results of such work, Putin said.

"It is a serious task, but we can accomplish it. Because we are probably the only country in the world which is now able, ready and already producing and using small nuclear power plants," Putin said.
