EAEU agricultural producers raise prices 10.2% in 9M - EEC
MOSCOW. Nov 11 (Interfax) - Agricultural producers in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) raised the prices of their produce 10.2% year-on-year in January-September 2025, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reported.
Prices in Armenia rose 4.9%, in Belarus 9.9%, in Kyrgyzstan 14.1% and in Russia 12.4% in 9M. They fell 3% in Kazakhstan.
Crop producers increased prices 13.5%, while livestock producers raised them by 8.2%.
In September 2025, agricultural products rose 8.9% in price year-on-year, 1% compared with the beginning of the year and remained unchanged from August 2025. Crop producers decreased prices 2.3% compared with December 2024 and livestock producers raised them by 3.9%.
In September, agricultural producers in Kyrgyzstan raised prices the most - by 18.4% year-on-year. Prices increased 9.6% in Russia, 8% in Belarus, 3.7% in Armenia and 3.8% in Kazakhstan.
As reported, agricultural producers in the EAEU raised prices 6.4% in 2024, including an increase of 8.4% in Russia and 4.6% in Belarus, against a decrease of 1.9% in Kazakhstan, 1.7% in Armenia and 0.2% in Kyrgyzstan.
