IMF forecasts rise of 8.6% in Central Bank Azerbaijan's FX reserves to $11.9 bln in 2025
BAKU. Oct 21 (Interfax) - The International Monetary Fund forecasts the foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) to increase 8.6% year-on-year to $11.9 billion in 2025 from $10.96 billion in 2024, the IMF posted on its website.
The IMF also projects the CBA's foreign exchange reserves to decrease to $11.7 billion in 2026 and to $9.6 billion in 2030.
The CBA's foreign exchange reserves had risen 3.2% since the end of 2024 to $11.3 billion as on October 1.
