India begins payments for Russian oil in yuan, but percentage still small, payment mainly in rubles - Russian deputy PM
MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - Indian companies have begun paying for supplies of Russian oil in yuan, but the percentage of transactions in this currency is still small, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told journalists.
"Such payments [in yuan] have begun, but the percentage at the moment, I think, is small. Payments are mainly in rubles," Novak said.
