Azerbaijan's GDP grows 1.3% in 9M 2025 - State Statistics Committee
BAKU. Oct 13 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan's nominal GDP rose 1.3% year-on-year in real terms to 95.2 billion manat in January-September 2025, the State Statistics Committee told Interfax.
State Statistics Committee data indicate that the country's oil and gas sector declined 1.9%, while the non-oil and gas sector grew 2.9%.
Industry accounted for 34.2% of GDP; vehicle trade and repair 10.5%; transportation and warehousing 7%; construction 6.6%; and agriculture, forestry, and fish farming 6.8%. Tourism and catering accounted for 2.8%, information and communications 1.8%, and other sectors of the economy 20.7%. The share of taxes in GDP is 9.6%.
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy forecasts GDP to grow 3% in 2025. The country's GDP rose 4.1% in 2024.
