Russian PM hoping for soonest conclusion of EAEU-Indonesia free trade area agreement
MINSK. Sept 30 (Interfax) - A free trade area agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Indonesia is being finalized, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
"The work on a free trade area agreement between the Union and Indonesia has reached the final stage. We are expecting its soonest conclusion," Mishustin said at an expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
Its implementation and the entry into force of international agreements with the United Arab Emirates and Mongolia will lead to a quality improvement of foreign economic relations between the EAEU members and countries of the Global South and will boost trade, he said.
