Ukraine imports energy resources worth $4.86 bln in H1 2025 - estimate
MOSCOW. Sept 1 (Interfax) - Ukraine's energy imports in January-June 2025 stood at $4.86 billion, which is 40 times more than revenues from energy exports that totaled $120 million, Ukrainian media reported citing the DIXI Group analytical center.
The center's estimate is based on data from the Energy map resource.
According to DIXI Group data, Ukraine's energy import structure in H1 2025 was formed mainly by oil and oil products (other than crude), which accounted for 57.9% of the expenditures, as well as by oil gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons, the share of which was 23.6%. Coal and electricity accounted for 9.5% and 5.7% of imports, respectively. Other ten groups of energy resources, including coke, bitumen, peat, resins, oils, and other petrochemical products, jointly accounted for up to 3.3% of Ukraine's total import expenditures.
