Pashinyan, Witkoff discuss development of Armenian-U.S. strategic relations

YEREVAN. Aug 8 (Interfax) - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff in Washington to discuss the development of strategic bilateral cooperation.

"The interlocutors discussed issues related to the development of Armenia-U.S. strategic relations and further steps," the Armenian government press service said.

Pashinyan and Witkoff exchanged opinions on an upcoming meeting between the Armenian prime minister and the U.S. president and a trilateral meeting with the Azerbaijani president at the White House later on Friday, it said.
