EU to provide 30.6 bln euros to Ukraine in 2025 - EU summit document
BRUSSELS. June 27 (Interfax) - The European Union will continue to provide long-term regular financial support to Ukraine, and 30.6 billion euros are due to be disbursed in 2025, according to the European Council conclusions issued in Brussels on Thursday.
"In 2025, the European Union will provide Ukraine with 30.6 billion euros, of which 3.5 billion euros has already been disbursed under the Ukraine Facility, and 7 billion euros under the G7 ERA initiative, which is repaid by the windfall profits stemming from immobilized Russian assets," the document said.
It also voiced the EU's commitment "including as part of Ukraine's path to EU accession, to supporting its repair, recovery and reconstruction, in coordination with international partners, including in the areas of psychological and psychosocial rehabilitation and increased demining assistance."
