Russia is ready to continue expanding supply of hydrocarbons to Indonesia, join development of its shelf - Putin
ST. PETERSBURG. June 19 (Interfax) - Russia is ready to expand direct supplies of oil and LNG to Indonesia and joint the development of the country's current and new shelf deposits, Russian President Vladimir Putin said after talks with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
"Large Russian energy companies are effectively working on the Indonesian market. We are ready to continue expanding direct supplies of hydrocarbons, oil and liquefied gas," Putin said.
Russia is ready to get join prospective projects to develop Indonesia's shelf deposits or get involved in current projects to increase the productivity of such development, he said.
Putin also said the country is open to cooperation with Indonesia on peaceful atom, including in projects for non-energy use of nuclear technologies.
