Russia and Serbia extend contract to supply 6.1 mln cubic meters of gas per day until Oct

MOSCOW. May 26 (Interfax) - Russia and Serbia have signed an addendum to the current agreement to supply gas from June 1 to September 30, Serbia's Tanjug news agency said, citing Srbijagas CEO Dusan Bajatovic.

Tanjug reported that Russia would supply 6.1 million cubic meters of gas per day at 290 euros per thousand cubic meters, while the parameters are unchanged, and the price is tied to the cost of oil.

Bajatovic also said that the price for households would not increase in the near future, though the price would be less expensive for industry if there are no serious shocks on the market.
