Russian govt extends quota for exporting fertilizer until end-Nov 2025

MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax) - Russia has extended the quota for exporting mineral fertilizer from June 1 to November 30, 2025, inclusive, with the government having signed the corresponding resolution, the government's press service said.

The overall volume of the export quota is nearly 20 million tonnes, including 12.3 million tonnes of nitrogen fertilizer and 7.6 million tonnes of compound fertilizer, in the respective period.

The government implemented the non-tariff quotas for exporting nitrogen and compound fertilizer on December 1, 2021, as one of its measures to curb rising food prices, having already extended the restrictions several times.
