Ukraine Energy Support Fund raises 1.2 bln euros over 3 years - Ukrainian minister

MOSCOW. April 23 (Interfax) - The Ukraine Energy Support Fund has raised 1.2 billion euros in grants since it was established three years ago, Ukrainian media said, citing the country's Energy Minister German Galushchenko.

"More than 70 Ukrainian energy companies from all regions of the country have received aid. About 150,000 pieces of equipment have been delivered to end recipients," Galushchenko said on social media.

Procuring equipment for restoring power supply, transformers, generators, cable products and automotive equipment remains a priority, he said.

The fund's donors are both state-owned and private companies, international and regional organizations from nearly all European Union countries, the United Kingdom and the United States, he said.

The Ukraine Energy Support Fund was set up in April 2022.
