Ukraine attracts loan from Council of Europe Development Bank for internally displaced persons
MOSCOW. March 28 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has deemed it appropriate to attract a loan in the amount of 200 million euros from the Council of Europe Development Bank for the implementation of the project for support of internally displaced persons.
A relevant decision was made at the government's meeting on Friday, Ukrainian media outlets said with a reference to the government's representative to the parliament Taras Melnichuk.
In addition, the Ukrainian government approved a draft grant agreement for the urgent restoration program signed between the government and the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
The agreement envisages that the grant worth 8.8 billion Japanese yen would be allocated to humanitarian demining, energy, water supply, public health and safety, educational services, and the infrastructure restoration in regions.
