Trump says plans to sign rare earths deal with Zelensky on Feb 28

WASHINGTON. Feb 26 (Interfax) - U.S. President Donald Trump has confirmed that he plans to sign an agreement with Kiev on the joint development of Ukrainian rare earth metals on Friday, February 28.

"President [Vladimir] Zelensky is going to be coming on Friday. That's now confirmed. We are going to be signing an agreement, which will be a very big agreement and [...] that will be on rare earths and other things," Trump said at a U.S. administration meeting in Washington.

"We are doing very well with Russia, Ukraine," he said.
