Kyrgyz, Chinese presidents discuss deeper bilateral cooperation in Beijing
BISHKEK. Feb 5 (Interfax) - Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has met with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in the course of a state visit to China, the Kyrgyz presidential press service said on Wednesday.
"The two heads of state exchanged views on a broad range of issues in Kyrgyz-Chinese relations, deepening of comprehensive, equal cooperation, and international and regional affairs of mutual interest," the press service said.
China and Kyrgyzstan have made a breakthrough and built a comprehensive strategic partnership, Xi said.
"Our countries are strengthening political dialogue based on trust," he said.
Japarov said, for his part, that Kyrgyzstan viewed China as a loyal friend and a reliable partner and dwelt on successful inter-regional cooperation.
