Russian deputy FM, Japanese ambassador discuss bilateral relations

MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko and Japanese Ambassador in Moscow Akira Muto have discussed the current state of bilateral relations, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"Today's state of Russian-Japanese relations was discussed. The Russian side reaffirmed that only an actual revision, supported by practical steps, by Tokyo of the current anti-Russian policies carried out in solidarity with Western countries in the context of the situation around Ukraine would pave the way for resuming interstate dialogue," the ministry said in a statement on its website.
