Over 100 communities in 5 Ukrainian regions still without electricity due to bad weather - Ukrenergo
MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - The power supply to 104 communities in five Ukrainian regions remains disrupted on Wednesday morning due to adverse weather conditions, including rain and strong and gusty winds, Ukrainian media outlets cited the Ukrenergo company as saying in a statement on social media.
Consumers in the Kiev, Khmelnitsky, Chernigov, Zhitomir and Chernovtsy region are currently without electricity, Ukrenergo said.
"Repair brigades of the regional power distribution companies are working to fix the damage. The power supply is expected to be restored before the end of the day," it said.
As reported, adverse weather cut off power supply to nearly 400 communities in 16 Ukrainian regions on Tuesday, with the Khmelnitsky region hit the hardest.
