Kiev, Tokyo discussing liberalization of visa procedures - Ukrainian FM

MOSCOW. Nov 18 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga has said he discussed steps toward liberalizing visa procedures between Ukraine and Japan with his Japanese counterpart Takeshi Iwaya, Ukrainian media reported.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Iwaya in Kiev on Saturday, Sibiga also said Japan's support provided to Ukraine since the start of the crisis exceeded $12 billion.

"Another batch of heavy-duty power generators will be donated today. In all, we will receive 100 generators from Japan this year. This is important and well-timed support," Sibiga said.
