London adds 56 individuals, legal entities to sanctions lists related to Russia, Central African Republic, Libya
LONDON. Nov 7 (Interfax) - The United Kingdom has added 56 individuals and legal entities to its sanctions lists, a statement published on the British government website on Thursday said.
There are various reasons for the sanctions, including a threat to peace, stability and security in Libya and destabilization, undermining or endangerment of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
They are also related to undermining or endangering peace, stability and security of the Central African Republic and activity associated with chemical weapons.
The African Corps paramilitary group and the Espanyola military unit were sanctioned, among others.
Besides Russian citizens and companies, restrictions will apply to legal entities from China.
