Russia's agricultural exports should remain at $43.5 bln in 2024, dip to $40.7 bln in 2025 - ministry

MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Russia's agricultural exports should total $43.5 billion this year, similar to 2023, the Agriculture Ministry has confirmed in amendments to the strategy to develop the domestic agro-industrial and fisheries complexes up to 2030, with the draft government order introducing the amendments posted on the ministry's website.

Russia's Agriculture Ministry is considering a baseline and a conservative option going forward. Exports are projected at $40.7 billion in 2025 under the baseline option and at $38.5 billion under the conservative option; $42.2 billion and $40.5 billion, respectively, in 2026; $44 billion and $42.6 billion in 2027; $47.1 billion and $46.1 billion in 2028; and $51.1 billion and $50.6 billion in 2029. Both options project exports of $55.2 billion in 2030.
