Ukraine doubles grain exports Y-o-Y - Kiev
MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Ukraine has exported 12.04 million tonnes of grain and legumes since the beginning of the 2024-2025 marketing year (MY) as of October 14, 2024, of which 1.593 million tonnes were shipped in October, Ukrainian media reported, citing the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry's press service and Ukrainian State Customs Service's data.
The total shipments were estimated at 6.676 million tonnes as of the similar date in 2023, including 7,000 tonnes in October, it said.
As for crops, 6.894 million tonnes of wheat (796,000 tonnes in October), 1.575 million tonnes of barley (252,000 tonnes), 10,500 tonnes of rye (3,100 tonnes), and 3.302 million tonnes of corn (538 million tonnes) have been exported since the beginning of the current season.
The total Ukrainian flour exports since the beginning of the season are estimated at 21,500 tonnes (2,600 tonnes in October), including wheat flour at 19,400 tonnes (2,100 tonnes) as of October 14.
