Azerbaijan's GDP rose 4.7% in 9M - statistics committee

BAKU. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan's GDP grew an estimated 4.7% to 92.83 billion manat in 9M 2024, the country's State Statistics Committee said.

Non-oil GDP rose 7.1% while oil and gas sector GDP rose 0.9%.

Industry accounted for 37.1% of GDP, trade and automotive repair for 9.6%, transport and logistics for 7%, construction for 6.3%, agriculture, forestry and fisheries for 6.4%, information and communications for 1.8%, hospitality services for 2.4%, other sectors for 19.2% and taxes for 10.2%.

Per capita GDP was 9,103 manat in 9M 2024.

Azerbaijan's GDP grew 1.1% in 2023. The Economy Ministry is forecasting 4.2% growth for 2024.
