Ukrposhta plans to buy 1,745 electric tricycles with EBRD funding

MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian national postal service Ukrposhta has announced a tender to purchase 1,745 electric tricycles on Full Service terms under a logistics development project to be implemented in 2024, Ukrainian media have reported with reference to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) website.

"The [...] client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s)," the EBRD said.

The project would provide for making important investments in Ukrposhta's infrastructure to improve the quality of its services at the local level and increase its resilience.

The closing date of the tender is November 18.
