Gazprom Neft to build filling station chain in Uzbekistan under own brand
MOSCOW. Sept 27 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft plans to build a chain of filling stations in Uzbekistan under its own brand, the Russian oil company's CEO, Alexander Dyukov told reporters on the sidelines of Russian Energy Week.
"We're already working in Uzbekistan, shipping oil and oil products there - gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricant and bitumen materials. Now we're discussing the possibility of implement a number of other projects in Uzbekistan, including, among other things, the possibility of building a chain of filling stations under our own brand. Uzbekistan's economy is growing rapidly, oil product consumption is increasing. This is a promising market, on which it is, of course, right to have a presence," Dyukov said.
He recalled that Gazprom Neft, using its own digital solutions, helped open a Drilling Management Center in Uzbekistan.
"This center made it possible to significantly reduce the time and cost of building wells at fields in the country. Cooperation with Uzbekistan in the area of exploration and production technology will be continued," Dyukov said.
