OPEC+ alliance agrees to delay oil output hike by two months - sources

MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - OPEC+ countries have reached an agreement to delay the increase of 170,000 barrels per day in oil production planned from October by two months, a source with knowledge of the situation told Interfax.

According to the plan approved in June, eight OPEC+ volunteer countries were supposed to begin rolling back their cutbacks of 2.2 million barrels per day in October. Production was supposed to increase from 35.612 million bpd in September to 35.782 million bpd in October.
