Sberbank ups corporate, retail loans portfolios to RAS by 2.2% and 0.3% in July
MOSCOW. Aug 9 (Interfax) - Sberbank increased its corporate loan portfolio to Russian Accounting Standards by 2.2% to 24.9 trillion rubles in July, the leading Russian lender said.
The retail loan portfolio grew by 0.3% to 16.9 trillion rubles in July. The bank lent 577 billion rubles to retail clients in the month.
The corporate and retail loan portfolios grew by, respectively, 6.7% and 8% in the first seven months of 2024.
The share of nonperforming loans edged up to 2.1% in July from 2% in June.
Retail funds at the bank rose 0.7% to over 25.5 trillion rubles in July after growing by 3.7% in June, and increased by 12.6% in the seven months.
Corporate funds shrank by 1.3% to 10.9 trillion rubles in July after falling 3.1% in June due to the optimization funding costs as the bank managed its liquidity. Corporate funds were up 0.6% in the seven months overall.
