Ukrgazvydobuvannya pays UAH 11.02 bln of rent to budget in H1

MOSCOW. July 31 (Interfax) - Ukrgazvydobuvannya (UGV) has allocated UAH 11.02 billion of rent payments to the Ukrainian consolidated budget over the period of January-June 2024.

"Of this amount, 5%, or UAH 551.03 million, is channeled to the budgets of local and regional levels in the regions where the company is producing hydrocarbons," Ukrainian media reported, quoting the company's website as saying on Wednesday.

In particular, the Kharkov region will receive UAH 284.66 million, the Poltava region UAH 220.36 million, the Lvov region UAH 22.76 million, the Dnepropetrovsk region UAH 10.76 million, and other regions UAH 12.49 million.

As reported, Ukrgazvydobuvannya produced 12.5 bcm of marketable natural gas in 2022, which is down 3% year-on-year. The marketable gas production totaled 13.224 bcm in 2023, which is up 0.679 bcm year-on-year.

Naftogaz Ukraine owns 100% of Ukrgazvydobuvannya.
