Indian PM to visit Russia on July 8-9 - Kremlin
MOSCOW. July 4 (Interfax) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to Russia on July 8-9, the Kremlin press service said.
"Negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin will address further development of the traditionally friendly Russian-Indian relations and the current global and regional agenda," the press service said.
Moscow views this visit as a highly significant event, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.
"This is practically one of the first or even the first trip of Modi after the election," Ushakov said.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier it would be "a very important visit."
